| Lucieinthesky is constantly searching for diamonds. But that is a different story all together. She was born in the Great White North (that is neither great, nor white most of the time) and moving to the sunny Southland when she was just 17 years old, where she became a Gamecock. Since she has been in the South she has gone from a jaded, bitter, cynical Yankee to a jaded, bitter, cynical damn Yankee. Most of you don't think there is a difference, but there is.
Lucieinthesky majored in journalism at USC and has since become a journalist. She hates her current job, so she decided not too long ago to search for a new one. She found one and will be moving from Hilton Head to Athens very soon.
While in Hilton Head, she battles almost daily with an evil witch, known as the features editor. Their battles usually ended in a bloody mess, but she'll get hers when it comes time for the exit interview. |

I am trying to picture myself on a boat in a river
with tangerine trees and marmalade skies.
Where somebody calls me, and I answer quite slowly to a girl with kaleidoscope eyes. Where I see cellophane flowers of yellow and green towering over my head.
